Earlier this year we reported the success of our Australian Time Attack team, BYP Racing. BYP Racing debuted their EG Civic at the World Time Attack Challenge at Eastern Creek Raceway in Australia and were quick from the start. Since this first event, they've been attending club events and State Supersprint rounds getting the car ready for another attack at Eastern Creek. This past weekend, they had their chance at Eastern Creek once again during Round 8 of the Supersprint Championships.

BYP Racing's K24-powered EG Civic recorded a new best time of 1:38.0, beating their previous personal best by 3.1 seconds! This makes the BYP Racing Civic the QUICKEST Time Attack Honda around Eastern Creek Raceway! Even more, they finished 1st in Class and 1st Overall, giving them the win! The competition in Australian Time Attack is stacked, with some really quick race cars/teams (R35 GTRs, WRX's, EVO's, Clubmans, etc.). At the end of the event, they sat at the top of the time sheet by 1.4 seconds over the next closest car (A Nissan GTR)!
